Are you on the East coast? How are things over there? I've been waiting to hear back from my friends in NYC, all the while riveted by the television and too much coffee. I'm sending all my love to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy. I know what it's like to get your whole life ripped apart by a hurricane, even if the ripping is only temporary. It's still your whole life.
This is what it looks like here. Windy, with gray skies and diffused sunlight. Quietly pretty.
The moon was so beautiful last night, swollen and full, and buried among clouds that were shirred and white on the black sky. Looking up at a sky like that can feel just as sad as it does lovely. Sometimes it feels like you're staring up at nothing but a big, peculiar, unanswered question.
I wish all of you sunshine and warmth, and light and rest today, and through the week as well <3
