My name is Rebekka Mann Seale. I was born in Kentucky. At the age of two, I traded in mint juleps and horse races for the crab traps and Spanish moss of the Alabama Gulf coast. Now, somehow, I've found myself in Nashville where I live with my husband Manley and our two little cats, Mabel and Lina. I spend my days working from home, creating original gouache and watercolor paintings, commissioned illustrations, and custom house portraits. My work is hand-painted, reflecting my love of all things imperfect and homespun. When I'm not painting, I'm dabbling in other more amateurish (for me) hobbies like knitting and photography.
